Course will be open for teachers to begin work beginning on January 10, 2022.
This 12-hour institute is designed to address TEKS that are challenging to 8th grade students including:
Domestic Policies of the early Presidents
Foreign Policies of the early Presidents
Political Parties
Reconstruction
Participants will have the opportunity to work at their own pace and learn content and pedagogy from scholars and conultants and demonstrate their learning through a variety of activities.
Join us and experience hands-on lessons that allow learners to engage with the content and gain a deeper understanding of our nation's history. Explore lessons and strategies that support student success and enrich existing curriculum. Participants receive access to all materials upon completion of the course.
The virtual LRE training will model best practices in both online instruction as well as face-to-face instruction.
Teachers will receive 12 hours for this institute. This is based on the successful completion of all components of the course.
